Aaron joined the Federal Public Defender Office as an attorney in 2016. Prior to working as an Assistant Federal Public Defender, Aaron practiced law at Mountain State Justice representing incarcerated individuals in federal and state 1983 actions on civil rights issues. His civil rights work was featured in The Nation. Aaron graduated from West Virginia University College of Law in 2015 with Pro Bono Distinction, where he served as the President of Public Interest Advocates. He received his bachelor's degree from James Madison University.
